Abstract:The article mainly investigates the treatment method of coking wastewater after advanced oxidation treatment. The coking wastewater is treated by coke powder as adsorbent, and the effects, such as particle size and dosage of coke powder, pH of wastewater, adsorption time, on the removal efficiency of COD and chroma of adsorption were discussed. The experimental results show that the discharge of waste water is stable and the quality of water can meet local emission standards of Liaoning Province (DB 21/1627—2008) under the condition of 0.16 mm particle size of coke powder, 80g/L coke powder dosage, 4 pH of wastewater, and 2 h adsorption time, the removal efficiency of COD reaches 37.4% and chroma is reduced to 23 times from 48 times. The article provides a technically feasible and economically justified approach for coking wastewater discharge of standards compliant.
