Abstract:In order to study the pore characteristics of magnesia fluxed pellet,based on mercury intrusion porosimetry, the current study investigated the influencing regularity of basicity on pore structure of magnesian flux pellets, and analyzed the uniformity of the pore distribution of flux pellets and the relationship between pore, liquid phase quantity and compressive strength according to multifractal theory. The results show that with the increase of basicity, the critical pore diameter of magnesian flux pellets decreased first, and then increased, but the most probable pore size and the average pore size were gradually increased, and the pore distribution became more and more uniform, and there are mainly macro porous. Appropriate liquid phase quantity was helpful for the improvement of compressive strength, and made up for the impact of lower compressive strength because of larger pores.
