Abstract:By sintering pot and industrial test, the optimal technological parameters of producing high basicity sinter as well as reasonable proportioning were obtained using the hematite concentrate. By controlling FeO and quicklime content, and improving the permeability and oxidation atmosphere of the sinter bed, the sinters with calcium ferrite as main binding phase can be produced. With high basicity, the sintering characteristics of selfmode concentrate are improved such as higher sintering temperature and bad sinterability. Meanwhile, the problems caused by high viscosity, such as difficulties to blend and mix can be solved. Thus, good results have been obtained in production of high basicity sinter with lowsilicon fine hematite concentrate at Angang company.
