Abstract: In order to enhance the uniformity of slab solidification structure and reduce macrosegregation, a self consumption of vibration excitation of nuclear technology in liquid steel was proposed. When the vibration of strip was feeding with the liquid steel, the flux may be subsequently involved in, so a numerical simulation of heat transfer was researched. Through experimental research, for 50mm×5mm of strip in moving and its superheat is 10℃, when the strip feeding speed is less than 0.36m/min, the temperature of the strip in the center of lower edge stabilize above the liquidus temperature; when the feeding speed is less than 0.102m/min, the center temperature on the strip surface which is the slag interface more than 2mm can reach or exceed flux melting temperature by means of axial heat transfer.Then strip near the flux may be still on the molten structures,and it will not be brought into the liquid steel.
