Abstract:The nonsinusoidal vibration control of continuous casting mold driven by servo motor has many advantages over the electrohydraulic servo drive control currently used in the field. But the centralized control mode with high performance controller as the control core is usually adopted in the control system of the two driving modes. In case one part of the controller fails, it will affect the normal operation of all continuous casting flows and there are certain safety risks. To address this problem, a design scheme of nonsinusoidal vibration distributed control system for continuous casting mold driven by servo motor is presented. The general design of distributed control system for multistrand continuous casting production process is presented, and the upper and lower level computer control system is designed. Each continuous casting strand is controlled by a Siemens highperformance motion controller SIMOTION D425. Each strand is independent and does not affect each other. Thus, the production affect of all continuous casting streams can be avoided even if a part of the centralized controller fails, and the safety and reliability of the system are improved. Finally, the feasibility of the designed distributed control system is verified by experimental research.
