Texture of HotRolled NonOriented Electrical Steel by CSP Process

Abstract:The texture of hotrolled nonoriented electrical steel (w(Si+Al)=1%)produced by CSP process was investigated and compared with conventional products. It was found that the major texture is{001}<110> , namely, α (<110>∥RD) fibre texture in the center,and the texture distributes nonuniformly in thickness direction and the intensity and symmetry of texture are increased from the surface to the center for both hot rolled electrical steels.
