Abstract:Through analysis on the production situation of the 120 t combinedblowing converter of semisteel, it indicated that the effect of bottom blown has been increased by addition of quantity of bottom nozzle. Using of 6 bottom nozzles, the w([O]) in steel touched bottom of 527×10-6 ; the w(TFe) in the slag touched bottom of 19.52% and w([C])·w([O]) product touched bottom of 0.0022%. If the time of later stirring was 3 minutes by 0.05 m3/(min·t) of the bottomblowing gas supply parameters and 50100 kg joined containing carbon; the [O] in steel is decreased by 146.8×10-6. The quantity of joined scrap steel was by the principia that [C] in the molten steel control the TFe in the slag. It is the key to raise bottom nozzle life that the rational maintaining technology of bottom nozzle is used so as to form a stable “slag mushroom”on the top of bottom nozzle. As a result, bottom nozzle life was already above 6000 heats from 10002000 heats.
