Abstract:The corrosion rate of the phosphorusbearing steel was measured by dry/wet alternate immersion test. The formed rust layer was studied by of XRD、SEM and polarization test. The results showed that adding RE in the phosphorusbearing steel is able to improve corrosion resistance of the steel.due to formation of compound deposited on anode from Ce3+、Ce4+ and La3+ ions and PO43-、H2PO4-、SO42-.
