Study on Production of High Fe and Low SiO2 Sinter

Abstract:The agglomeration mechanism of sinter with high Fe and low SiO2 is different from that of traditional high basicity sinter,in which the agglomeration of calcium ferrite liquidphase, and recrystallized crystals of iron oxide is coexisted simultaneously.High Fe and low SiO2 sinters of high strength and high reduction properties can be obtained through implementation of a series of parameters such as optimized basicity,appropriate sinter layer thickness,low carbon ratio,use of quality quicklime and adjustment of MgO to Al2O3 ratio.
