Abstract:Abstract: The property and sulfide precipitation of different coiling temperature in low carbon steels were investigated by using tensile, metallographic, quantitative analysis of precipitates, SEM, TEM and EDS. The results show that: With the coiling temperature increasing, the strength and ASTM reduced gradually. The MnS precipitation is mainly divided two stages: The one stage is the complex precipitation of MnS and Al2O3 in austenite, the precipitate sizes are situated between 1μm-5μm and have the lath shape in generally; The two stage is the MnS precipitated in coiling process, the precipitate sizes are situated between 200nm-600nm and have the near globe shape; The coiling temperature's change have small influence to the combination S content as well as the MnS precipitates size distribution.
