Abstract:Based on 21Cr11Ni stainless steel, 253MA as a heat resistance pure austenite stainless steel was developed by adding nitrogen and Ce. Because of low melting point of this steel,the fluidity of molten steel is poor. Consequently,the addition of nitrogen and Ce was a problem. Thus different methods used to add Ce,control deoxidization procese with inclusion control and the model for N2 content control were studied.Now 253 MA can be prepared and cast successfully.
