Abstract:Characters of high nitrogen steels refining with high pressure and bottomblown nitrogen was expounded. Thermal state miniative experiments in the laboratory was carried out and confirmed that the grade of factors which affect the nitrogen content in steels are pressure, the Cr content, the Mn content and temperature which the order is from high to low by analyzing the experimental data. Based on the experimental data and thermodynamic data, expressions of nitrogen content in high nitrogen steels have been established, and the nitrogen content can be calculated with different pressures, the content of different alloy and different temperatures.
