Abstract:Based on four wide slab continuous casting molds at a plant as prototypes,the water models of 1∶1 scale were prepared to test.The optimum structural parameters of SEN (including tilt angle, bottom shape and number of ports), and optimum operation parameters, such as, immersion depth of nozzle,argon gas flowrate of nozzle, casting speed,were obtained.
