Abstract:during rolling the heavy rails with dual slope at inner foot through the finishing mill(UF),sticking of scale at interconnection point of two straight line occurs, which severely restricts the productivity of the line and the quality of product. After many times of process optimization following the conventional principle, this problem still can not be removed or even reduced. But the application of MARC software for simumation analysis of metal flowing rules through the UF helps find out the reason why sitcking can not be solved by process optimization, by means of principle of lubrication rolling , continuous trial of optimization of roll materail considerably removes the sticking of scale onto UF. A set of new roll can increase the rolling productivity by 176.5tons within the same service cycle.
