Abstract:To find out the quality distribution and maceral properties of fine coal for blast furnace injection, a sample produced by a colliery in Luoyang was used. Take advantage of Xray diffractometer and vibrating sample magnetometer, three quality specifications as ash, sulfur and magnetic susceptibility of different size of pulversized fine coal were inspected respectively;the maceral properties of different size ranges of milling fine coal were also studied. The results show that these three quality indexes all progressivly reducing along with the decreasing of pulversized coal particle size. The relationship between these three indexes and size is caused by the difference of grinding ability between minerals and coal, as well as the difference of magnetic;so a new dry magntic beneficating process for coarse coal powder can be implanted in existing fine coal preparation system.
