Experimental Study on Pellet Production With Siderite of Daxigou Mine of Longmen Iron and Steel Factory

Abstract:In order to optimize the blastfurnace charge structure at Longmen Iron and Steel Factory, fully display Daxigou iron ore source superiority, the proper proportion and production conditions were studied. The metallurgical and physical properties of pellets produced with different proportions were determined. The results indicate that, the pellets made from pure Daxigou ore fines are not suitable because of low yield and low decrepitation temperature. The reasonable proportion of siderite should be controlled below 50%.
