Abstract:Based on temperature field simulated with finite element difference method, the 2D microstructure evolution and distribution profile was predicted and a model of mean flow stress with consideration of austenite grain size and recrystallization, and a technology of grain refinement rolling were put forward. There is only a little recrystallization due to low temperature during last several passes of finishing,so the austenite grain size can be refined by increasing reduction on first two passes of finishing or reducing temperature before finishing.
