Abstract:The effect of FDT (finishing delivery temperature) on the ridging resistance property of ferritic stainless steel SUS444 was investigated by using EBSD and metallographical technology. The evolution of {110}<001>Goss texture, together with its effect on the ridging resistance property, were discussed. The results showed that the Goss texture{110}<001> caused by shearing deformation during hot rolling could be promoted due to lower FDT, which caused positive effect on the ridging resistance property of the following cold-rolled products.
