Abstract:Thermal measurements toward No.2 sintering machine-circular cooler of north iron making zone of Tangshan Iron and Steel were operated, energy balance calculation of sintering machine and circular cooler was carried out based on the test results. Combined with production equipment, technology and operational features, the thesis analyzed and diagnosed the utilization situation of thermal energy. The results showed that the heat dissipation of circular cooler was small, but there were disadvantages in it, such as serious cascade wind in the gas hood, severe air leakage at the bottom of the trolley. According to these disadvantages, efficient waste heat recovery-utilization and other specific measures and ways of reducing power consumption were put forward, providing reliable basis for further improvement of the technology and equipment.
