Abstract: The thermal analysis technology (TG, DTG and DSC) was applied to kinetic analysis for nonisothermal thermal decomposition of crystal water in limonite (β=10℃/min). The method of CoatsRedffen was been applied to determine the activation energy for the thermal decomposition of crystal water in limonite. The results indicate that the process of thermal decomposition of crystal water limoniteis is divided into three steps, the first step is slow reaction, subsequent is quick reaction, at last is slow reaction. The adsorption heat of sintering process is not a positive relationship with the content of crystal water, but it is a positive relationship with the activation energy.
