Abstract:Based on a mount of actual data and heat transfer mechanism, a heat transfer coefficient model was developed. To obtain the quenching process data, the cooling process of steel was simulated by the ANSYS finite element software. The model parameters were calculated through the nonlinear regression algorithm. Thus, the formula of heat transfer coefficient for the quenching process was obtained. Through the new method, the problem of heat transfer coefficient could be solved without middle data of quenching process.
