Abstract:Aiming to satisfy the demand of consumers, shorten the production cycle and improve the competitiveness in the market, multiple technologies including mould ingot casting, rolling in 3800mm rolling mill, heap cooling and annealing of the steel plate, quenching and tempering of the samples, rolling replacing forging were adopted in Nanyang Hanye Special Steel Co., Ltd.. Super thick alloy 42CrMo structural steel was successfully produced by these measurements. The performance indexes of the steel plates can well satisfy the requirements of the relevant national standard. The steel plates have excellent welding performance and match the grade I in JB/T4730.3—2005 verified by ultrasonic flaw detection.
