Abstract:According to the similitude principle, the Chengsteel 150t vanadium extraction converter was simulated and investigated by 1∶6 water model based on the same correction Fr. The results show the characteristics of the impinging area and penetrating depth in converter bath is obtained during only top gas blowing, and the bath has the best mixing effect when the ratio of impinging diameter and penetrating depth is 3.1. The effect of mixing time was figured out on different number and different configurations of bottom lances. The shortest mixing time can be obtained with the eccentric asymmetry configuration of 8 bottom lances, the lowest mixing time is 38.6s.
