Abstract:The influence of the parameters of oxygen lance nozzle and the oxygen conditions on splashing ratio was investigated through water molding. A better understanding was obtained on the effects of oxygen jet to bath by the result which provided a basis for oxygen lance nozzle designing and oxygen supply. The effect of jet of multi nozzle on bath is the result of overlaying of each single nozzle. It is necessary to keep the oxygen lance nozzle designing and oxygen supply within reasonable bounds for a good metallurgical effect.
