Abstract:The adsorption and re-oxidation of zinc vapor for the sinter, pellets and coke in the lump zone of BF were simulated by the reduction reaction of zinc vapor (ZnO+C = Zn+CO) in graphite crucible. The results show that the adsorption and re-oxidation rate of zinc vapor on sinter surface become faster with the higher temperature, and it reaches the max value at 800℃; the interfacial area of adsorption reaction for zinc vapor and ZnO content in sinter, pellet and coke will be reduced with increase of particle size of sinter, pellet and coke, the discharge rate of zinc vapor through stock gas can be increased.
