Abstract:By metallographic analysis, scanning electron microscopy, energy spectrum analysis, combined with thermodynamic and kinetic calculation methods, the behavior of titanium-nitride in the electric slag remelting process of Ni-22Cr-12Co nickel-based superalloy were investigated. The results show that: under our experimental conditions, inclusions in the vacuum ingot and esr ingot is TiN which have the core of Al2O3; in the electric slag remelting process, the calculation time of dissolution of TiN is 1.17s; electric slag remelting process have little effect on the removal of the TiN inclusions, calculated TiN precipitated size of about 5μm, is slightly smaller than the experimental values.
