Abstract:Under the background of rising SiO2 content in iron ore,to solve the technical problems that sinter yield and quality decreased with serpentine had stopped,suitable ore blending structure after dolomite used as substitution of serpentine was studied by use of micro sintering device and sinter pot.The micro sintering tests show that on the condition of the same chemical composition,after dolomite replaces serpentine,sintering liquid phase fluidity reduces and cohesive effect becomes poor,so sinter body consolidation strength falls obviously.The sinter pot tests show when iron ore with higher liquid phase fluidity instead of lower fluidity iron ore,yield and tumbler strength separately increase 0.98% and 2.26%,productivity raise 9.71%,and when large grained iron ore are used in order to increase the sintering adhesive powder segregation basicity,yield and tumbler strength separately increase 2.10% and 3.37%,productivity raise 8.25%.
