Abstract:Combined with the Xinsteel’s product line about the Slabs of Niobium Microalloyed Steel Q345, and with the help of numerical simulation, the effect of the form of stack cold slabs on energy efficient and production pace in the process of hot charging was investigated. The result shows that: under the Xin Steel’s current technology, the Slabs of Niobium-Microalloyed Steel Q345 must offline and stack cold, and organize hot charging until the highest surface temperature of stack cold slabs below 650℃; Relative to the cold charging, the hot charging save energy 197.5~285.5kJ/kg, effect is obvious; Because the form of stack cold slabs and the initial temperature determines the duration of stacking allowed by the implementation of the hot charging, the form of stack cold slabs should be well organized according to duration of stacking and heating plan.
