Abstract:Two kinds of sticking prevention methods were introduced in this study to find new ways to prevent sticking and explore the sticking mechanism. The turbid liquid method, acid and alkaline leaching method and the coprecipitation method were all used for coating Ca3(PO4)2 onto the surface of Brazil ore particles. The coating effect was detected by an scanning electron microscope and the sticking resistance effect after coating treatment was tested by fluidized reduction in a silica tube fluidized bed. In addition, sticking ores like Brazil ore and hua lian ore were mixed with the anti-sticking ores like high phosphate ore and the Indonesia sea sand ore with different proportions and then the sticking resistance effect by this method was tested. The iron whiskers can be well inhibited on the ore particles’ surface by coating Ca3(PO4)2 while it makes no difference on preventing sticking; The mixing ores method can prevent the sticking problem with certain mixing proportion of sticking ores and anti-sticking ores.
