Solid waste resources treatment mode and development tendency of iron and steel enterprises in China

Abstract:The sustainable development concepts and new environment-friendly features of iron and steel enterprises in China was elaborated. As to a major iron and steel plant, material types and metallurgical properties of solid wastes produced from coking, pellet, sinter, iron-making, steel-making, roll and affiliated processes in a certain steel plant were discussed comprehensively, while the corresponding treated measures were also researched. Focused on the solid waste of engineering disposal and export sale from steel plant, this paper also discussed the major bottleneck tasks of dusting methods of containing harmful elements, hazardous waste disposal and high temperature slag waste heat recovery, and represented a new solid waste treatment technology development route for iron and steel enterprises . It was expected to make a further contribution to the zero emission of solid waste treatment for iron and steel enterprises in China.
