Compensation technology of lubrication process for bottom of strip in double cold rolling unit

Abstract：In order to solve the problem of the difference of oil film thickness between the upper and bottom surfaces of the strip in the double cold rolling,the calculation model of oil film thickness on the upper and bottom surfaces of the strip was established by analyzing the formation and evolution mechanism of oil film thickness. Then,according to the idea of increasing emulsion flow and emulsion ratio concentration on the bottom of strip,compensation technology for the lubrication process for bottom of strip in double cold rolling unit was developed. Through this technology,the thickness of the oil film in the deformation zone of the upper and bottom surfaces of the strip in double cold rolling is equal,and,maximum reduce the incidence of the strip speck defects. The technology is applied to a domestic 1 220 double cold rolling unit,the application effect is remarkable,typical strip surface patches defect rate is reduced greatly,reduce degree above 50%.
