Abstract Heating control on coke oven is the most important control in coke oven operation. The control method of Intermittent Heating Control adopted in traditional heating control system of coke oven cannot satisfy the heating control on coke oven. Based on the analysis of the difficulty and strategy of heating control on coke oven, using the principle of combining the Intermittent Heating Control method with the heating gas flow adjustment, linear programming and fuzzy control theory, the strategy and model of intelligent heating control on coke oven are put forward. The composition and the structure of control system are designed. Such a system is to stabilize and optimize the heating of coke oven.
