Abstract By the HCS Chemistry software, analyzed the reaction mechanism of FGD with pyrolusite, and make sure there are two process of desulfurization:①the main reaction as(MnO2+SO2=MnSO4),②the minor reaction (SO2+1/2O2+H2O=H2SO4). The minor reaction has much influence on the main. The results can give the evidence and feasibility of the technology process of FGD in sintering with pyrolusite.
