Abstract More attention is paid to BOF mud reusing treatment not only for environment protection but also for ferrous resource reusing. Three recycling modes ore discussed from four aspects, including ferrous resource yield, energy consumption, treatment cost and technology applicability. The reasonable mode of BOF mud treatment is to produce basic pellets as BOF slag forming flux.
