Study on Increasing Pre-finishing Temperature of GCr15 Bearing Steel Wire |

Abstract Few network carbides and fine laminar pearlite were obtained in the industrial experiment on increasing the pre-finishing temperature of GCr15 bearing steel φ10mm wire, and heat simulation method was used in laboratory to analyze industrial experiment phenomena further. It was found that cementite particles are uniform and fine, network level decreases to 1.5, Brinell hardness is 202.72, and strength and toughness are both high in annealed tested steel, the time of network carbides precipitate is the moment of ultra-fast cooling, when the pre-finishing temperature is 944℃, and they all satisfy demands for GB/T18254-2002 and practical production to annealed GCr15 bearing steel.
