Effect of Hot Deformation Parameters on Phase Transformation in Austenite NonRecrystallization Region of Niobium Steel |

Abstract By using of ThermecomastorZ machine, the transformation of 0.128%Nb microalloyed low carbon steel in austenite nonrecrystallization region during continuous cooling was studied.The effect of the deformation parameters(deformation temperature, strain rate, strain) on the transformation was analyzed. The results indicate that transformation start temperature drops with the raising of cooling rate. when the cooling rate higher than 5 ℃/s, more than 90% of the structure is granular bainite. Increasing deformation temperature, enhancing strain and increasing strain rate can accelerate transformation.
