Abstract Abstract:In order to improving steel quality and reducing production cost, more and more factories consider the refining grain steel process to be one of the best choose, that not only increase steel strength, also improve plasticity and toughness of steel rebar. According to our conditions of product line, the 400 MPa fine-grained steel rebar of 20MnSi with ferrite grain size of 5-10 μm was successfully developed by adjusting the chemical compositions and new design of deformation parameters of finite roll pass, and by new process with controlled rolling and cooling techniques.
