Abstract The main facilities of Ezz Flat Steel,supplied by Danieli and put inoperation recently are in troduced.Several heats of API X70 for arctic application were cast and rolled on this flexible thin slab casting rolling line and it was confirmed that the thin slab casting technology is particularly suitable for producing hot rolled coils of HSLA steels,even for applications in severe environmental conditions,achieving all characteristics above standards.
