Abstract By optimizing the technology of converter steel making of ML08A1 cold heading steel, the morphology of nonmetallic inclusions was modified and product quality was improved.In the trail,the billet quality was inspected and the morphology of nonmetallic in clusions was studied. The measures to improve product quality and steel cleanliness further are brought forward.
