Abstract By using SEM,optical microscope and Gleeble 3800,the microstructure and mechanical properties of TGOG13Cr1 super martensitic stainless steel were studied. The result showed,that the microstructure of TGOG13Cr1 at room temperature is lowcarbon tempering martensite,with Ac1 720 ℃，Ac3 860 ℃, Ms 281 ℃ and Mf 157 ℃;For same quenching temperature and tempering process, the mechanical properties are easier to control by water quenching than by air quenching; the higher the tempering temperature, the lower the strength and hardness, and the better the plasticity and toughness are.
