Abstract A Multiport annular flameless ceramic burner for hot blast stove is introduced. The damp characteristics uniformity of fluid field at port, flow patterns in the chamber and expansion section were studied by cold model experiment. This ceramic burner was used on No.6 blast furnace at Liuzhou Iron & Steel Corporation Ltd. It was proved that this ceramic burner could be used on hot blast stove for higher efficiency and heating blast to 1200 ℃.
