Theoretical Analysis of Injecting Coke Oven Gas With Oxygen Enriched Into Blast Furnace |

Abstract The changes of indirect reduction rate, coke rate, blast volume, bosh gas volume, adiabatic combustion temperature of the raceway and composition of blast furnace gas were simulated by computer. In the meanwhile the effect of changing oxygen enrichment and coke oven gas (COG) injection rate was studied. The results show that on condition of adequate heat and proper adiabatic combustion temperature, suitable oxygen enrichment and coke oven gas injection can make coke rate reduced to 291kg/t, carbon dioxide emission reduced by 6.1%, blast furnace gas utilization improved, and lead to better economic and environmental benefits.
