Growth Behavior of Laves Phase of δ-Ferrite in P92 Steels |

Abstract The growth of Laves phase in P92 steel after aging at 600℃ was investigated by transmission electron microscopy(TEM), scanning electron microscopy(SEM). Experimental results show that Laves precipitate in δ-Fe region, and the size and coarsening rate are significant higher than the Laves phase in martensite matrix; the higher the content of δ-Fe, the greater the size and growth rate of Laves phase in the δ-Fe; the content of δ-Fe has little impact on the size of Laves phase in martensite matrix.
