| Correlationship between strength index， reactivity and reflectance of coke |

Abstract The mean maximum reflectance[Rmax]and mean bireflectance[Rbi]can be measured automatically by controlling the angle of polarizer of microscope. By means of regression analysis， significant the correlationships were found between[Rmax]and coke reactivity CRI， and coke strength after reaction CSR as well. The values of[r]were －0.926 and 0.949， respectively. The correlationship between[Rmax]and coke mechanical strength[DI15015]was weak obviously， the[r]of which was only 0.704. No obvious correlationship was found between[Rbi]and any other coke property index.
