| Improvement of high manganese steel in ball mill lining |

Abstract The problem of easy cracking and deformation of high manganese steel wear liner was studied by analysis of composition and properties. The hardness，wear resistance，impact resistance and service life of high manganese steel wear liner were greatly improved by added a certain amount of alloy additives and improve the heat treatment. Finally the hardness，abrasion resistance，tensile strength and yield strength of high manganese steel were improved 10.7%，62.7%，7.4% and 8.13% respectively.
