Abstract��Based on composition of raw materials and property of slag with superhigh w(Al2O3), which was produced using smelting laterite sinter ore by a blast furnace (BF) with 450m3 of Chengde Nickel Industry, superhigh w(Al2O3) slag was synthesized using analytical reagent. Viscosity and desulfurization properties of BF slag with different w(MgO) and w(Al2O3) was measured using hanging wire rotational viscosity measurement system and high temperature Raman spectrometer. The results indicate that decrease of BF slag viscosity and improvement of desulfurization rate can be presented by adjusting w(Al2O3) or w(MgO) when binary basicity of BF slag is 1. 03.
