Abstract��In view of the drawbacks of traditional sinter waste heat recovery system, the vertical tank recovery system of sinter waste heat that was put forward by imitating dry quenching technology was a transformative sinter waste heat recovery system, which had many advantages, such as high waste heat recovery rate, low air leakage rate, and so on. The basic process of vertical tank waste heat recovery system was described firstly, the basic features of vertical tank waste heat recovery system were described, and then the key technical issues of vertical tank waste heat recovery system were analyzed, the basic ways for solving the key technical issues were provided.
