Abstract:Effect of fluorine on microstructure of mold powder was studied by using of Raman spectrum analyzer. The results show that fluorine is the key component to change the structure and crystal of mold powder. Dipolymer in mold powder is the typical characteristic of cuspidine. For the same sample, the microstructures of crystalline state, glassy state and melt state at high temperature are completely different and crystalline structure exists in glassy state; melt state doesn t show all unordered structure and cluster of crystal also exists.
