Abstract:From the production of conticaster, the physical simulation in tundish has not been experimented in the steelmaking plant of Laiwu Steel. The residence time of molten steel, differences of temperature and state of non-metallic inclusion in tundish are not understanding currently. We can know the suitability of design parameters and the rationality of flowage through physical simulation, and we can find the reasonable flowage control device and the appropriate structure of tundish On the basis of the research. It will provide a basis for the tundish of the scene to optimize, meet to improve billet quality and produce high-quality rolled steel.
