Abstract:The sample cut from the longitude crack of 510L grade beam slab was analyzed in order to find out the causes of longitude crack. Then some technique parameters were optimized correspondingly, such as the carbon content was controlled under 0.08%, the mold water was decreased about 15%, the temperature of inlet water was improved upon 38 ℃, the secondary cooling water was decreased about 25%, the mold powder having high basicity, high melt point and low viscosity was used.Taking all of these measurements above, the longitude crack ratio was decreased from 57.41% to 2.15%.
